Humans seek to select and exchange resources with wealthy partners for greater benefits. In this study, we examined whether implementing the “petty favor” option (giving a small amount of interaction prior resource provision pooled accounts) from rich cooperative poor group members facilitates rich-poor selection cooperation. total, 216 participants were allocated played repeated two-person public goods game selfish or partner bots. متن کاملEstimating the Resource Adaption Cost from a Resource Rich Language to a Similar Resource Poor Language
Developing resources which can be used for Natural Language Processing is an extremely difficult task for any language, but is even more so for less privileged (or less computerized) languages. One way to overcome this difficulty is to adapt the resources of a linguistically close resource rich language. In this paper we discuss how the cost of such adaption can be estimated using subjective an...
متن کاملImproving Statistical Machine Translation for a Resource-Poor Language Using Related Resource-Rich Languages
We propose a novel language-independent approach for improving machine translation for resource-poor languages by exploiting their similarity to resource-rich ones. More precisely, we improve the translation from a resource-poor source language X1 into a resourcerich language Y given a bi-text containing a limited number of parallel sentences for X1-Y and a larger bi-text for X2-Y for some reso...
